Trailer Towing Training
Without doubt towing a trailer off road can be very challenging. Not only do most trailers track differently to the tow vehicle they also add loadings on to the tow vehicle in all terrain, though most noticeably off the flat. They are much harder to reverse and loading them takes more consciences effort as that can place undue strain on the tow vehicle. Wet slippery conditions heavy loads steep inclines or drops need careful driving and adoption of new skills.
Most 4WD training companies offer a specific trailer training course for off road conditions, or it can be incorporated into a Quad/LUV or Light 4WD program.
Parkley Off Road have a light trailer for hire that can be used both laden and empty.
Contact us or your preferred training company to arrange a course that meet the needs of your staff.
